Why Binance Has Restricted Many Users?

Nowadays many Binance members are facing the restrictions with the promotions, campaigns and to claim red packets. Everyone is wondering about the root cause of this problem and how to solve it.

Binance Cracks Down on Automated Red Packet Farming During Livestreams…

Binance Square has issued an official notice addressing the misuse of automated tools during livestream red packet giveaways, signaling a broader enforcement effort to protect the integrity of its livestream reward system.

The Violations
According to the announcement, two specific behaviors are now explicitly banned on the platform:
• Automated claiming — Using bots, scripts, or other automated tools to claim red packets in bulk during livestreams is a violation of platform rules.
• Multi-account abuse — A single operator controlling multiple accounts to repeatedly claim rewards, creating the appearance of genuine participation where none exists, is likewise prohibited.
Both practices undermine the spirit of livestream red packet events, which are designed to reward real, individual engagement from the community rather than large-scale, mechanized extraction of rewards.

Consequences for Violators
Binance has outlined clear penalties for accounts found in breach of these rules:
• Accounts caught using automated claiming tools may be disqualified from participating in future livestream activities, and any rewards they’ve already received can be clawed back.
• Accounts engaged in coordinated multi-account abuse risk removal from the platform’s monetization programs entirely, cutting off their ability to earn through Binance Square.

Enforcement Already Underway
Binance stated that it has already reviewed recent livestream red packet claim records and has taken action against accounts identified as violators. The company added that this monitoring is ongoing, not a one-time sweep, meaning suspicious claiming patterns will continue to be flagged and investigated going forward.

Why This Matters
Red packet giveaways are a popular engagement mechanic on Binance Square, incentivizing users to tune into livestreams and interact in real time. When bots or fake accounts siphon off a disproportionate share of these rewards, it dilutes the value for genuine participants and erodes trust in the platform’s promotional programs. By publicizing this crackdown, Binance appears to be aiming for both deterrence and reassurance — signaling to bad actors that abuse will be caught, while reassuring legitimate users that the reward pool is being protected.

Using bots, scripts, or other automated tools to claim red packets in bulk during livestreams is a violation of platform rules. In serious cases, accounts may be disqualified from participating in livestream activities, and any rewards already distributed may be recovered.
Having one operator control multiple accounts to make repeated claims in order to create fake participation and obtain rewards is also prohibited on the platform. Such behavior may result in disqualification from the platform’s monetization programs.
Binance Square has reviewed recent livestream red packet claim records and has taken action against the accounts involved in violations. Monitoring will continue. Thank you for helping maintain a genuine and healthy livestream interaction environment.
